For the external lawyer
The client sends you the contract as a .forma file. You open it on the portal — in any browser, on any system — review the text and return the answer as one short string. It sorts itself onto the client's document, with your name on every verdict.
The portal is a single static page. It sends the document nowhere: not to us, not to the client, not to a third party. Everything is parsed in your browser.
How it looks
By mail, messenger or AirDrop. If the file is password-protected, the client passes the password separately — usually by voice.
The portal shows the full text with the negotiated terms marked inside it. Accept or object to each — with your own wording; a remark can be left on any clause, not only the negotiated ones.
The portal packs verdicts and remarks into a short code. The client pastes it into forma. — everything lands in the negotiation rounds under your name.
Privacy
The portal is a single page in the browser. Works on Windows, macOS, Linux — anywhere. Nothing to install, nowhere to register.
The page makes not a single network request — enforced by its security policy, not by a promise in the text. Go offline: it keeps working.
The file may arrive encrypted (AES-GCM). Decryption happens in your browser; only you and the client know the password.
forma. has no backend. We do not know that you opened the document, nor what you wrote in it.
